About Sloppy Seconds

Sloppy Seconds is a Ramones-influenced punk/junk rock band from Indianapolis, Indiana, formed in 1985. Known for gritty, controversial lyrics—songs like “I Don’t Wanna Be a Homosexual,” “Come Back, Traci,” “So Fucked Up,” “Janie Is a Nazi”—they mix horror, TV, porn, beer and B-movies in their style. Their latest release is *Play With Yer Records!!! Mistakes & Piss-Takes: Vol. 1* (2025). They’ve built a cult following in the underground punk scene but haven’t won mainstream awards. They’re well-known for their raw live shows and irreverent humor.
